Late penalty rescues a point at Lomi Hill

Gvirabi twice came from behind to draw 2–2 at Lomi Hill FC on Saturday 10 October. The hosts led in the 12th minute, Rati Sikharulidze levelled in the 34th, and Lomi Hill went ahead again in the 57th.

With two minutes left, captain Giga Lordkipanidze stepped up and sent his penalty into the bottom corner after a handball in the area. It was his first goal of the season and the point keeps the Lamps unbeaten after two rounds.

Gvirabi supporters filled the away bus from the town centre, and the cable car ran a special late service so everyone was home before midnight.
