A members’ club
FC Gvirabi belongs to its members. Nobody owns a share of the club and nobody can sell it: the statutes forbid a sale of the ground, the name or the crest without a two-thirds vote of the members at a general meeting.
How the board works

The board has seven volunteers, elected for two years at the annual general meeting. It meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the club office, and its minutes are published on the documents page within two weeks.
- Chair: speaks for the club and signs contracts on its behalf.
- Treasurer: prepares the budget and the annual report.
- Sporting director: oversees the first team and the academy pathway.
- Four members: community, stadium, fundraising and supporters.
The accounts
The annual report and the minutes of the general meeting are public. Any member can ask the treasurer to explain a line of the accounts, and the answer is printed in the next matchday programme.
