Kldiani Athletic won 2–1 at the Ropeway Ground on Saturday 17 October, scoring twice in the second half after Anzor Beridze had put Gvirabi ahead in the 41st minute with a header from a corner.
The visitors equalised in the 63rd minute and found the winner in the 88th, a long shot that dipped under the crossbar. Gvirabi pushed for an equaliser in the closing minutes but Kldiani held on.
“We deserved more from the first half and we know it,” Vazha Kobakhidze said. “The team now has a week to answer, and I trust them.”
